Overview: ORL Horizons is a continuing medical education meeting hosted by the department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck surgery at the American University of Beirut. The meeting highlights research endeavors and emerging technology in the diagnosis and management of common otolaryngologic clinical problems. Our residents and faculty will present the results of various clinical and research projects and highlight innovative treatment and surgical options. This year’s program will highlight current challenges in pediatric otolaryngology.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify current challenges in the field of pediatric otolaryngology head and neck surgery.
  • Discuss technological advances in the field of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in addition to their current and potential application in clinical practice.
  • Draw on the updated pediatric ENT practice guidelines.
  • Demonstrate what procedures can be done locally and in the region.

This symposium targets ENT physicians and residents, pediatric ENT physicians and residents, pediatricians, fellows, students, audiologists, nurses, otolaryngologists, and otorhinolaryngologists.
